Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a pool attendant to supervise the pool area in West Palm Beach, FL, make safety announcements, and ensure poolside equipment is ready for guest use. Hospitality experience and strong customer service are essential, with weekend availability required.

The role is full-time and exempt, offering comprehensive benefits with potential travel for training and events. You will assist residents and guests by providing information and maintaining safety standards at

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2+ years in the Hospitality Industry.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Responsibilities

Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
Must be service oriented.
Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
Checks sports equipment to make sure it is in order for guest to use.
Reports broken sports equipment to the manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered.
Must have the ability to work as a team member.
Must be accessible to and approachable to residents/guests.
Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
