Job summary

FirstService Residential in Palm Beach, FL is seeking a pool attendant responsible for overseeing the pool area, making safety announcements, and maintaining equipment inventory to ensure guest access. The role requires hospitality experience and a service-oriented attitude.

You will work Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 5pm, lift up to 50 lbs, assist with setup and cleanup, report incidents, and be a team player while following safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Must be service oriented.
• Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
• Checks sports equipment to make sure it is in order for guest to use.
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member.
• Must be approachable to residents/guests.
• Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
