Job summary

Leslie's, Inc. is seeking a Pool & Spa Specialist to manage the pool, hot tub and swim spa division and drive sales at the North Versailles location. You will capture leads, follow up, and close sales while representing the brand at events.

The role requires several years of sales experience with large ticket items, strong rapport and closing skills, and the ability to train and lead a team to meet targets and maintain store profitability.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of sales experience, large ticket items preferable.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and qualify requirements.
• Salesmanship skills: understand selling process and customer engagement.
• Close sales and walk customers through every stage of the deal.
• Plan and organize daily selling activity to secure sales through follow up.
• Strongly committed to hitting targets and exceeding goals.
• Good training skills and temperament; leadership potential.
• Understanding of sales calculations and math; proactive planning.
• Self-motivated leadership with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• In charge of the store’s pool, spa and swim spa sales performance.
• Meet or exceed sales budget and gross margin goals.
• Drive customer count and provide excellent customer service.
• Lead daily operations of the pool and spa sales division.
• Sell products by understanding features and benefits.
• Close sales with enthusiasm and proper closing techniques.
• Follow up on leads and manage lead processes.
• Train team to understand lead management and POS systems.
• Communicate product information from leadership to team.
• Promote the store and products at home shows and events.
