We service residential and commercial properties, providing inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of pool equipment with a focus on safety and water quality. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing mechanical systems preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Driver's License for travel to customer locations.
• Able to learn new pool systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain pool equipment and systems.
• Perform routine pool service and preventative maintenance, including inspections and cleaning.
• Balance and monitor pool water chemistry for safe conditions.
• Operate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components related to pool systems.
• Assist with special projects and provide cross-department support as needed.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely, maintaining a clean work environment.

What You’ll Do:

The Swimming Pool Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pool equipment and systems while providing exceptional customer service at residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is committed to maintaining safe pool operations through proper equipment maintenance and water chemistry management. Primary duties include:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain swimming pool equipment and systems.
• Perform routine pool service and preventative maintenance, including equipment inspections, cleaning, and identifying potential issues before they become larger problems.
• Monitor and balance pool water chemistry to maintain safe, clean, and healthy swimming conditions.
• Operate and work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components related to pool systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and automation equipment.
• Assist with special projects, installations, repairs, and support activities across departments as needed.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment while following all company safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:

• Must be able to perform the primary duties of the position, with or without accommodations.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, or repairing mechanical systems is preferred; prior experience in the building trades, construction, maintenance, or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to diagnose problems, prioritize tasks, and complete work accurately.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical demands of the position.
• Valid Driver's License required for travel to customer locations throughout the service area.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturday work required during peak season.
