Customer Relations & Professionalism

Our customers are the cornerstone of our business. As a Pool Service Technician, you are often the primary point of contact between our company and our clients. We expect every team member to:

  • Approach every customer interaction with a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships built on trust, reliability, and respect.
  • Present a clean, professional appearance at all times while on the job — including maintaining a neat uniform.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with customers, keeping them informed of any issues or service recommendations.
  • Take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects our company values.
Safety & Quality Standards

The safety and well-being of our customers is our top priority. We hold ourselves to the highest standards and expect every technician to uphold them without compromise.

  • Follow all safety protocols when handling pool chemicals and operating equipment.
  • Ensure pools and equipment are safe for customer use following every service visit.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations applicable to pool maintenance and chemical handling.
  • Report any potential safety hazards immediately and take corrective action where appropriate.
  • Complete all work thoroughly and accurately — shortcuts that compromise customer safety are never acceptable.

This position requires daily operation of a company vehicle to travel to and from customer locations.

  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required — a background driving check will be conducted.
  • Safe, responsible driving is expected at all times, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policy.
  • Technicians are responsible for performing routine vehicle checks, including oil levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels, and reporting any maintenance needs to management promptly.
  • Any vehicle issues, damage, or mechanical concerns must be reported to management immediately.
  • The assigned vehicle must be kept clean and organized at all times, both inside and out, as it represents our company image on the road and at customer locations.

  • Repetitive physical movements including brushing, vacuuming, and equipment handling.
  • Working in confined or awkward spaces around pool equipment and mechanical areas.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks safely in varying outdoor weather conditions.

Note: Physical requirements may extend beyond those listed above depending on the specific needs of a given service call or repair job.

  • Experience with pool equipment repair and troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — a positive, customer-focused attitude is essential.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to handle and apply pool chemicals safely (training provided).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude — comfort with tools and hands-on repair work.
