Job summary

South Seas Resort on Captiva Island, FL is hiring for a full-time server role. The position includes hourly pay with tips, and requires prior serving experience, a High school diploma, and clean certifications. You will work 40 hours weekly, including weekends/holidays, in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to convey information clearly.
• Experience in serving, basic bartending, and cashiering is a plus.
• Must meet age, license and certification requirements for Florida.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide hospitality daily.
• Pre-shift with staff and management for restaurant operations.
• Set tables, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and equipment.
• Complete daily shift operation report and communicate guest requests to kitchen.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and wine/cocktail lists.
• Adhere to dress and appearance standards and work assignments.
