Job summary

Guest Services in Davenport, FL is seeking a Pool Attendant to monitor pool area, enforce safety rules, and keep the facilities clean and welcoming for guests.

You will interact with guests, assist with supplies and maintenance, and report safety concerns to management, while upholding sanitation standards and service excellence. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat as directed by management.
• Monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety of guests.
• Monitor pool and slide closely throughout shift and identify safety issues.
• Provide excellent customer service while consistently enforcing pool rules and procedures.
• Deliver supplies to assigned areas of facility.
• Follow bio-hazard, safety, general procedures.
• Assist housekeeping when needed.
• Pull trash from trash receptacles.
• Replace trash bags as needed.
• Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.
