Job Title: Pool Attendant
The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and overall experience of guests using the pool and related amenities. This position requires maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment, monitoring pool areas, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the pool area to ensure the safety and well-being of guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool area, including poolside, furniture, and surrounding grounds.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down pool equipment and lounge areas.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Check and maintain pool water quality and temperature.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the management team.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations, including performing CPR or first aid if necessary.
- Assist with pool activities or events, as required.
- Maintain the inventory of poolside supplies, such as towels, pool toys, and cleaning materials.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and water chemistry.
- Certification in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR is preferred.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move pool equipment and furniture.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, etc.).
Work Hours
- Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
