Job Overview
Coordinates and implements the University Partnerships program functions, including managing university articulations, Degree Partnership Program (DPP) student recruitment, registration, marketing, and providing direct student support for navigation, academic progression, referral monitoring, and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor email campaigns for prospective students.
- Respond to inquiries and guide prospective and newly admitted students through the admission process.
- Conduct information sessions and recruiting events on and off campus.
- Provide program overviews, admission requirements, application process, orientation, and course registration information.
- Enter students into Banner for the DPP, effectively admitting and matriculating them into Linn‑Benton Community College (LBCC).
- Attend off‑campus START sessions and orientation sessions at partner institutions, offering academic advising and interpreting placement test results.
- Collaborate with the Transcripts office to evaluate transcripts for incoming students.
- Host campus tours for prospective students and families.
- Advise DPP students on course selection and use online articulation tables for equivalencies.
- Enter and verify prerequisite overrides for DPP students.
- Address progression challenges, provide practical solutions, and ensure students know next steps.
- Maintain knowledge of partner university policies and use them to support students.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment, working with LBCC staff and faculty to meet academic needs.
- Connect students to faculty or managers for counseling, advising, or intervention and assist in self‑management.
- Review, edit, and maintain college‑wide advising guides and articulation agreements with partner universities.
- Coordinate meetings between partner universities and LBCC faculty to maintain agreements.
- Support staff in using Banner and Aviso, provide training, and perform backup support as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate (AA/AS) degree.
- Minimum one year of customer‑facing support experience.
- One year of experience maintaining, operating, and editing workflows and backend functionality of Banner or a similar system.
- Experience managing complex data processes.
- Proficiency in public presentations and small‑group consultations.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Position may require occasional lifting of 10–50 pounds. Requires computer use and good visual acuity. Work is typically performed in an office setting with occasional late or early hours and involves substantial computer use.
