Description

The Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee will maintain pools at clients' facilities for the company.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Pool Maintenance Specialist in cleaning and maintaining pools by skimming, vacuuming, and chemical treatments.
  • Perform deep cleaning by emptying pools, brushing, and scrubbing walls and surfaces.
  • Test pool water for pH, chlorine, bacteria, algae, and contaminants.
  • Receive training on water chemistry and clarity.
  • Calculate and add chemicals to maintain water quality.
  • Inspect pools and equipment.
  • Help complete daily logs on water quality, chemical usage, repairs, and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of pool chemicals and equipment.
  • Mechanical and manual skills related to aquatic facilities.
  • Math skills for calculating chemical ratios.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of related experience.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Good vision and hearing to interpret water analysis and equipment readings.
  • Ability to perform cleaning, checking, and monitoring tasks.
