Job description

The pool laborer is primarily responsible for maintaining grounds along with pool and facility cleanliness to meet safety standards. Inspects pool daily and follows proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing.

Job Duties
  • Police grounds/ parking lot for litter and remove trash daily.
  • Vacuum diving well, lap lanes, plunge pool and wading pool as scheduled.
  • Sweep and hose down pool decks.
  • Clean and sanitize locker rooms
  • Empty filter baskets and inspect pool mechanics to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintain diving boards by cleaning, lubricate fittings and hinges as scheduled.
  • Inspect and tighten ladder bolts as scheduled.
  • Groom sand areas.
  • Work directly with the aquatic supervisor, maintenance supervisor and pool managers. Complete daily checklists and logs.
