Job summary

FirstService Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Groundskeeper & pool attendant to maintain the pool area and grounds and ensure guest safety. You will perform lawn care, clean and store equipment, and assist with poolside activities while reporting incidents and keeping guest areas welcoming.

The role requires basic cleaning skills, a high school diploma, and experience with landscape tools. The position offers full-time hours and benefits, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience using handheld landscape tools such as weed cutter, mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• Assists with loading/unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and stores equipment.
• Oversees pool area and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with poolside setup and breakdown for activities.
• Reports incidents to the manager.
• Picks up debris from the pool and checks sports equipment for guest use.
• Reports broken equipment to the manager for replacement.
