Job summary

FirstService Residential in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper & pool attendant to oversee the pool area, ensure safety, and maintain poolside equipment and overall building cleanliness.

The role requires use of tools, ability to lift 50 lbs, adherence to OSHA/EPA guidelines, and customer-service orientation. Full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, mower, hedger.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines for storage and use of chemicals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Oversees pool area and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Must be able to submit and report incidents to the manager.
