Job summary

FirstService Residential in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of our property. The role requires ability to operate lawn care equipment and work Tue–Sat from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

You will cut grass, trim around trees and walkways, clear debris, and help with loading and unloading supplies. You must follow safety procedures and OSHA/EPA guidelines while handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
