Job summary

World Equestrian Center Ocala is seeking a Pool Attendant (Part Time) to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment and deliver courteous guest service. You will monitor the pool deck, restock towels, set up seating areas, and escalate safety concerns to leadership, as the pool has no lifeguards.

Preferred candidates have guest service or hospitality experience and are available on weekends. High school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous guest service, hospitality, recreation, pool, or resort experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and service-focused in a guest-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently and support team needs during busy periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleanliness, safety awareness, and guest service practices.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and anticipate needs for towels, seating, and pool-area assistance.
• Keep pool deck and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized during shift.
• Explain pool rules and safety expectations courteously; escalate issues as needed.
• Set up loungers, tables, umbrellas, towels, and amenities per standards.
• Distribute and collect towels; restock supplies as assigned.
• Complete opening and closing duties and report maintenance issues.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain professional appearance.
