Job description

Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is seeking a Seasonal Pool Bartender to join our team!

We require candidates with at least one year of bartending experience, strong beverage knowledge, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and weekdays. Shifts are scheduled from Thursday to Sunday. The position is expected to start as early as May 16, 2025.

This is a seasonal role from May 16, 2025, to September 2, 2025.

Responsibilities

The Bartender will prepare and serve beverages and food to guests, ensuring excellent guest service and supporting the hotel's profitability. Specific duties include:

1. Greeting guests and responding to inquiries promptly and courteously.
2. Mixing and garnishing beverages according to recipes and portion standards.
3. Serving beverages to guests.
4. Checking IDs and serving alcohol in compliance with laws and regulations.
5. Handling payments accurately via the point-of-sale system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers.
6. Stocking and maintaining the bar supplies and perishables.
7. Responding professionally to inebriated guests as needed.
