Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is looking to add a Seasonal Pool Bartender to their team!

We seek candidates with at least one year of bartending experience and availability on weekends, holidays, and flexible weekdays. Shifts are scheduled from Thursday to Sunday. Candidates should possess strong beverage and resort cocktail knowledge. The position is available to start as early as May 16, 2025.

This is a seasonal role from May 16, 2025 to September 2, 2025.

Role Overview: A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and/or food to guests, contributing to the hotel's goal of delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring financial profitability.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Greeting guests and responding to inquiries promptly and courteously
2. Mixing and garnishing beverages according to recipes and portion standards
3. Presenting and serving beverages to guests
4. Checking IDs and serving alcohol in compliance with laws and regulations
5. Processing payments accurately via the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers
6. Stocking and maintaining the bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and condiments
7. Ensuring the quality and safety of perishables
8. Responding professionally to inebriated guests, as needed
