Job summary

Zota Beach Resort is seeking a Pool Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service to guests in our outdoor pool area. You will craft cocktails and non‑alcoholic drinks, maintain a clean bar, handle cash, and ensure a luxury guest experience at the beachfront.

Hospitality experience is preferred; a High School Diploma/GED is a plus. The role requires strong mixology knowledge, multitasking, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is a plus but not required.
• Hospitality or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and ability to multitask in a beachside pool environment.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Complete beverage and supply orders.
• Arrange bottles and glasses for attractive display.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishes.
• Wash bar glasses and dishes.
• Check IDs and comply with laws.
• Upsell food and beverages with effective sales techniques.
• Respond to questions and special requests.
• Provide information and directions to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

W e are looking to add a Pool Bartenders to our team.

The Pool Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to resort guests in a fast-paced, outdoor pool environment while delivering a friendly, engaging, and luxury guest experience. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards, maintains a clean and organized bar area, and ensures compliance with all food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations.

The Pool Bartender creates memorable guest interactions by anticipating needs, recommending specialty cocktails and menu items, and providing attentive service that reflects the resort's commitment to hospitality excellence. This role requires strong knowledge of mixology, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a positive, professional demeanor while working in a dynamic beachfront setting.

Essential Functions

• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Complete orders for beverages and supplies
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display
• Maintain a clean and neat work area
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
• Wash bar glasses/dishes
• Checks ID for all guests and complies with state and federal laws
• Demonstrates effective sales techniques to upsell food and beverage products
• Responds to questions and special requests
• Provides information and directions
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-10 hour shifts
• Pulling, pushing, carrying boxes up to 25lbs
• Working in out door environment where it could reach 90 degrees outside
