Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Pool Bartender in Fort Lauderdale to deliver exceptional guest service, set up, prepare and serve beverages, and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include mixing cocktails per recipes, checking IDs, knowing menus, engaging guests, handling payments, counting cash at shift start and end, and keeping the bar clean and stocked in a safe, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• Prepare beverages according to Company recipes and standards including signature cocktails.
• Properly check I.D.s
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
• Aide in bar promotions.
• Engage guests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
• Process and collect payments from guests.
• Count the bank at the beginning and end of shifts and follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, while ensuring all supplies are clean and sanitized throughout the entire shift.
• Perform all bars set up and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Know and comply with food handling and liquor laws.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
• Check with Front Desk team for occupancy and current groups in house.
