The City of Fairburn is seeking to fill the position of Pool Attendant for the duration of the summer camp to monitor and provide customer service to guests entering and exiting the aquatic facility areas, and to adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Please Note: The minimum age requirement for this position is age 15 with the certified work permit issued by appropriate issuing officer. Hiring Range: $12.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Licenses or Certifications:
CPR/First Aid or have ability to obtain certification.
Special Requirements:
Requires an acceptable general background check to include a local and state criminal history check and sex offender registry check. This position is deemed safety-sensitive and is subject to random alcohol and controlled substance testing.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THIS POSITION:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Tasks require the ability to exert moderate, though not constant physical effort. Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as, odor, fumes, wetness, water hazards, temperature and weather extremes, hazardous materials, infectious disease, or rude/irate customers.
