Overview

Pool Attendant (Seasonal)

As a pool attendant you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for pool users. You will oversee the safety and cleanliness of the pool area.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety and general maintenance of pool and pool deck.
• Ensure use of facility by authorized guests and maintain pool attendance records.
• Maintain proper linen inventory – collect linens, deliver and receive linens from laundry – issue linens to guests according to procedure.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of pool furniture and report any facilities issues as needed.
• Ensure proper guest adherence to posted rules and regulations and take appropriate action as needed.
• Be responsible for retail sales in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain positive guest relations and adhere to all guidelines of service related programs and initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior cashiering experience preferred.
• Previous guest contact experience preferred.
• Physically able to maintain the organization of pool furniture and transport laundry bins.
