Job summary

Skytop Lodge, Inc. is seeking a Pool Attendant to maintain a safe, hygienic, and pleasant swimming area. You will monitor activity for safety hazards and emergencies, and perform daily cleaning and water treatment as required.

The role involves following established guidelines, completing paperwork, and drying and restocking towels and pool amenities. The position requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required.
• Able to lift 30+ pounds.
• Able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Able to stand and move around for long periods.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate well with homeowners/guests/co-workers.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Flexible work schedule including weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Watch swimmers and swimming area for safety hazards, unsafe behavior, and medical emergencies. Take corrective action as needed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork including records, guest check-ins, chemical orders, and cleaning logs.
• Clean pool area, locker rooms and workout room.
• Empty wastebaskets in all areas.
• Transport towels to and from the laundry.
• Operate washers/dryers for towels as needed.
• Fold towels and restock pools/fitness areas.
• Clean foyer glass doors, windows, and pool entrance doors.
• Clean pool deck.
• Check and maintain water levels and temperature.
• Maintain sauna cleanliness and replenish water in sauna bucket.
• Prepare daily pool checklist for resident manager.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs needed.
• Issue towels to guests as needed.
• Unlock lockers for guests as needed.
• Maintain exercise room equipment and facilities.
