Description

Job Overview: The pool attendant oversees the pool area, makes safety announcements, and maintains an inventory of all poolside equipment for guest use. The role requires experience in the Hospitality Industry and involves serving residents by providing information and services.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with setup and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Submits and reports incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Maintains cleanliness by picking up debris and performing basic cleaning tasks.
• Checks sports equipment for proper condition and reports any broken items.
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Is accessible and approachable to residents and guests.
• Follows safety and environmental policies relevant to the position.
• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; college courses in Hospitality are desirable.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods.
• Walk, climb stairs, handle objects, reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate effectively in speech and writing.
• Navigate the property quickly and respond to emergencies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees Pool Attendant staff.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Compensation: $18.00 Hourly
