Job summary

Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is seeking a Pool & Beach Server to deliver Forbes-standard food and beverage service to guests by the pool and on the beach. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure timely, attentive service in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, hospitality experience, ability to work weekends and holidays, and a neat, professional appearance. Training includes food safety and alcohol service; physical stamina to stand and lift as needed;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and dining etiquette.
• Experience in restaurant, hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
• Previous pool, beach, or outdoor dining experience preferred.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate weights.
• Able to walk, bend, reach and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid food handler certificate and any required alcohol service certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in pool and beach areas using Forbes service standards.
• Greet and welcome guests in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations regarding food and beverage offerings.
• Take guest orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring quality and presentation standards.
• Monitor guests' needs and provide attentive service.
• Replenish beverages and check with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Process guest payments accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, pool decks, beach areas, and dining spaces.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, laws, and requirements for serving alcohol.
• Assist with opening/closing duties, including setup, breakdown, stocking, and cleaning.
• Collaborate with bartenders, pool/beach attendants, culinary teams, and leadership for seamless service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is now recruiting a Pool & Beach Server to join our team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-Beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. Position Summary

Pool & Beach Servers are responsible for providing food and beverage service to guests throughout the resort's pool and beach areas. They ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and personalized service while maintaining Forbes service standards. This role requires a strong focus on guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Pool & Beach Server Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or certificate in relevant training.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and dining etiquette.
• A minimum of one (1) year of serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
• Previous pool, beach, or outdoor dining experience is preferred.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
