Job summary

The Pond Guy, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Pond Tech) at our Armada, MI headquarters. You will handle inbound inquiries, educate customers, and provide solutions for pond owners across the country.

Expect a performance-based commission structure and a team focused on achieving sales goals. Training is provided; candidates should enjoy fast-paced, customer-facing work and be comfortable learning technical product information.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales, consultative customer service, or related customer-facing experience.
• Confidence communicating with customers and recommending solutions.
• Ability to listen, ask questions, and document detailed information while assisting a customer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort handling a high volume of customer conversations.
• Experience using CRM, sales, order-management, or similar business systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions, troubleshooting, sales, and order placement through phone, email, text, and chat.
• Ask consultative questions to uncover customer needs and recommend the best solution.
• Cross-sell and upsell products that support the customer's pond goals.
• Follow up with leads, quotes, and inquiries via outbound calls and email.
• Document customer conversations and sales activities in our CRM.
