Job summary

ProMedica Flower Hospital Sleep Center is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, performing PSG studies and titration across nights.

The role requires at least 12 months of polysomnography experience, RPSGT eligibility or certification, and completion of approved sleep technology training, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography.
• RPSGT certification; if not certified, registration may be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of A-Step online modules within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of a CAACHP accredited Sleep Training Program or related sleep technology certification with BCLS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Perform sleep studies including routine, non-routine, and complex recordings (PSG, CPAP, Bi-level).
• Include REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, and oxygen titrations as part of PSG studies.

Job Summary:

A s a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

In this role, you will perform all interventions/procedures in a sleep study including routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG recordings and Oxygen titrations.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography
• RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist , i f not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Registration may be obtained in one of the following ways within 6 months of hire:
• Completes the A-Step online modules
• Completes a CAAHCP accredited Sleep Training Program
• Completes an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program
• Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology Certification: BCLS at time of hire.
