Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital's Ebeid Children's Sleep Lab is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the night shift to perform sleep studies and comprehensive evaluations. The role involves CPAP/Bi-level, REM behavior, split-night studies, and REM-related testing.

You will deliver all standard sleep study interventions, titration, and complex recordings with a commitment to quality care. A $20,000 sign-on bonus applies for external candidates with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months experience in polysomnography.
• RPSGT required; if not certified, can obtain within 6 months via A-Step modules, a CAACHP accredited Sleep Training Program, an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program, or a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep studies including CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, and MSLT.
• Evaluate and treat sleep disorders; ensure comprehensive recordings and titrations.
• Provide safe, high-quality patient care during nocturnal sleep studies.

As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. In this role, you will perform all interventions/procedures in a sleep study including routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG recordings and Oxygen titrations. REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography
• RPSGT – Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, if not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Registration may be obtained in one of the following ways within 6 months of hire:
• Completes the A-Step online modules
• Completes a CAAHCP accredited Sleep Training Program
• Completes an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program
• Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology Certification: BCLS at time of hire.
