Job summary

ProMedica's Flower Hospital Sleep Center in Ohio seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to provide evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, performing routine and complex sleep studies.

You will conduct CPAP, Bi-level, split-night, REM behavior, MSLT, PSG recordings and oxygen titrations; nights, 36 weekly hours. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of Polysomnography experience.
• RPSGT credential or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire, via A-Step modules, approved sleep-training program, or EEG/RT track.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret sleep studies for evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Conduct routine and complex studies: CPAP, Bi-level, split-night, REM behavior, MSLT, PSG, and oxygen titrations.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with department policies.

As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

In this role, you will perform all interventions/procedures in a sleep study including routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG recordings and Oxygen titrations.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography
• RPSGT – Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, if not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Registration may be obtained in one of the following ways within 6 months of hire:
• Completes the A-Step online modules
• Completes a CAAHCP accredited Sleep Training Program
• Completes an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program
• Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology Certification: BCLS at time of hire.
