Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year duration from an accredited facility
• Minimum of six months experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency
• Holds CPSGT credential or equivalent; Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) OR CPSGT; BLS-CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and data acquisition with artifact-free signals
• Assist with scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events per AASM standards
• Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data
• Perform routine equipment care and maintain infection control guidelines
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, provide PAP and oxygen titration as needed
• Adhere to HIPAA and sleep center policies for privacy and quality assurance
