Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Night Shift Polysom Tech (PSG/Sleep) to conduct comprehensive sleep studies, calibrate equipment, and assist with PAP/oxygen titration. You will work under supervision of an RPSGT or Clinical Director and may supervise trainees.

You will gather patient data, review medical history, and ensure accurate documentation while applying needles and sensors per published standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year.
• Bachelor-level or state/nationally accredited program completion preferred.
• Proficiency in monitoring, scoring, and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic data acquisition with artifact-free signals.
• Apply electrodes and sensors and calibrate equipment for testing.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events per guidelines (AASM).
• Generate accurate reports and maintain documentation.
• Assist with PAP and oxygen titration and patient safety interventions.
• Maintain equipment care and adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.
