Job summary

Providence is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to perform and monitor sleep studies under AASM guidelines at Providence St. Peter Hospital.

Responsibilities include patient hookup, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scoring of polysomnography, including PSG with therapeutic intervention and MSLT/MWT. Requirements include an Associate's Degree in polysomnography or related field, NRPSGT or NPS, BLS, and at least 2 years in an AASM-accredited sleep center

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in polysomnography or sleep disorders technology or related field.
• Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or National Certified Polysomnographic Technician.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of work in an AASM-accredited Sleep Center performing testing and PAP titrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor diagnostic sleep testing following AASM guidelines.
• Hook-up of patients, equipment interfacing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and scoring of polysomnography.
• Involve polysomnography with therapeutic intervention, MSLT/MWT, patient follow-up and education.
