Job description

We Are Hiring

• Department: Sleep Diagnostic Lab
• Schedule:PRN nights | 7PM - 7AM
• Hospital:Ascension St. Elizabeth
• Location:Appleton, WI

What You Will Do

Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.

• Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interviews patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
• Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervenes as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpres and report results of sleep studies.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cert Polysomnographic Tech credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists(BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst credentialed from the Board of Registered PolysomnograhicTechnologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Sleep Technologist from the American Board of Sleep Medicine obtained prior to hire dateor job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
