Job summary

York Hospital in York, Maine, is seeking an experienced Polysomnographer to join our hospital sleep laboratory team. You will interview and educate patients, set up polysomnography equipment, and ensure data quality prior to analyses.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with BLS certification and a strong commitment to patient care and service. This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities to contribute to exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, educating and assessing sleep laboratory patients prior to study.
• Setup Polysomnography electrodes, calibrate and prove channel functional integrity.
• Collect data in accordance to policy specific to study type.
• Review and follow through on Sleep Laboratory admission orders.
• Assess, interview, educate and discharge patients following completion of study.

• Interviewing, educating and assessing sleep laboratory patients prior to study.
