Job summary

Sleep RX LLC in Rhinebeck, NY is urgently seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift to support diagnostic testing and patient care.

Must hold RPSGT and current state licensure. The position runs overnight 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, with pay ranging from $40 to $60 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification and current state licensure required.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Prior experience as an RPSGT preferred.

Responsibilities

Sleep Technologist, Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift position in Rhinebeck, NY. This role involves providing sleep services to facilitate diagnostic testing and patient care.

* Must be a RPSGT to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure within the state you are applying.

* Shift: Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM

Pay Range: $40 to $60 an hour, based on experience

Polysomnographic Technologist Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Prior experience as an RPSGT
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
• Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify participation).

Polysomnography Sleep Technologist Responsibilities:

• Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
• Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
