Job summary

International Motors, LLC seeks a Technical Specialist Engineer with polymers/plastics expertise to guide ME in product development, advise on material selection, and perform failure analyses. You will lead polymer testing, environmental resilience evaluations, and drive integration of the ME team into PFMEA and DVP definitions.

Responsible for maintaining material libraries, updating specifications, and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with extensive product design/development experience.
• At least 9 years of technical experience and 2+ years in a lead role required.
• Domestic/international travel up to 10% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide material recommendations for new products and perform root-cause analyses.
• Lead polymer testing, metrology, and environmental resilience evaluations.
• Develop and approve material specifications, procedures, and standards.
• Drive ME team integration into early product development and FMEA processes.
• Manage projects for quality control and cost savings.
