Job summary

Techmer PM, LLC in Compton, CA is seeking a Samples Technician for our Rancho Dominguez facility. The 1st shift runs from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour and higher depending on experience.

You will operate extrusion and mixing equipment to produce plastic compounds, follow SOPs, monitor process data, and ensure high-quality output. Benefits include medical coverage from day one and a 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience highly desired.
• Lift 55 lbs frequently.
• Learn the functionality of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds.
• Follow safety procedures to protect yourself, coworkers and the facility.
• Engage in process measurement, control and improvement of tasks.
• Learn and understand operating parameters to deliver in-spec, high-quality product.
