Job summary

Teknor Apex Fountain Inn is seeking a dependable production operator for 2nd shift in Fountain Inn, SC. You will run and monitor equipment, mix ingredients, and package PVC pellets per schedule while following safety rules and quality checks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions. Overtime and shift rotation may occur with a $1.25/hr 2nd shift differential and a $1.50/hr 3rd shift differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• Solid math: add/subtract/multiply/divide; interpret fractions/decimals.
• Excellent attendance and reliable work history.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely with a valid license.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Verify melt-mixing equipment is safe and functional.
• Retrieve and follow processing instructions to produce pellets.
• Communicate quality or process concerns to leads or supervisors.
• Provide break relief and rotate across lines as needed.
• Keep a neat work area and attend department meetings.
