Job summary

Mural Group is seeking a Production Operator for their Bethel, Connecticut facility on a 6-month contract. The role involves operating equipment that blends and packages chemical compounds, weighing ingredients to meet recipes, and ensuring safe operation in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Shift is 1st, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no nights or weekends. PPE is provided, and prior experience in polymer production is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics and polymer production operations.
• Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment with required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection).
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently and handle up to 250 lbs occasionally.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency - production documentation and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor equipment that blends, mixes, packages, and transports liquid and dry chemical compounds.
• Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and load materials into machinery.
• Document work in production logs and system inputs; maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow ISO standards and company safety procedures throughout the shift.
