Job summary

Mural Group in Holden, MA is seeking production operators to run blending and extrusion equipment, document procedures, and ensure quality Finished materials meet specs. The role requires 1+ year of related experience and the ability to lift 55 lbs in a dusty, chemical environment.

Ideal candidates will be able to set up machinery, follow recipe-based procedures, and maintain accurate production logs. This is a hands-on, second shift position at a facility within Worcester County.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/chemical manufacturing.
• Able to set up and operate production machinery; basic troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer literacy for production documentation -- Microsoft Office intermediate level.
• Physically able to lift 55 lbs regularly; comfortable in a chemical and dusty industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blending and extrusion machinery following operating and safety procedures.
• Weigh ingredients to recipe specification; ensure correct materials are in your work area.
• Monitor production equipment; troubleshoot basic processing issues and
• Examine finished materials to ensure they meet quality standards; take lab samples when required
• Complete required system transactions, production logs, and documentation
• Perform machine cleaning and maintain housekeeping standards throughout your shift
• Follow all safety, ISO, and EHS rules; wear required PPE at all times

Overview

Mural is partnering with a global specialty chemical and polymer manufacturer to staff their production facilities across Michigan, Massachusetts, and Ohio. Our client produces polymer colorants and specialty additive materials used across automotive, packaging, appliance, and consumer product manufacturing. Their plants operate continuously and they need experienced production operators who know how to run blending and extrusion equipment, follow recipe-based procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.

What you will be doing

• Set up and operate blending and extrusion machinery following operating and safety procedures

Pay and Schedule

Competitive hourly rate. 2nd and 3rd shift. Holden, Massachusetts -- Worcester County area.
