Job summary

Mural Group in Bethel, CT is seeking a Production Operator for a 6‑month contract on 1st shift. You will set up, operate, and monitor equipment that blends and packages chemical compounds, weighing ingredients to meet recipes and loading materials into machines.

Youll collect samples and document data while upholding safety and ISO standards. The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on production experience in a chemical/plastic environment, ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently, and comfort

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion or polymer production on the production floor.
Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment with required PPE.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently and up to 250 lbs occasionally.
Basic MS Office proficiency for production documentation and data entry.
Strong attention to detail with recipe compliance and quality control.
High school diploma or GED; willingness to commit to a 6‑month contract.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor equipment that blends, mixes, packages, and transports liquids and dry compounds.
Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and load materials into machinery.
Monitor production equipment for safe, efficient operation and troubleshoot simple issues.
Take material samples to the lab as needed and document results in production logs.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; follow ISO and company procedures.
