Job summary

Mural Group is seeking a Production Operator for their Bethel, CT facility. This 6-month contract role on 1st shift involves setting up, operating, and monitoring equipment that blends and packages chemical compounds.

You will document processes, follow safety protocols, and ensure recipe adherence. Ideal candidates have 1 year of related production experience, comfortable with PPE, and can lift up to 55 lbs frequently.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of production floor experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/polymer operations.
Comfortable in a chemical manufacturing environment with PPE.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently and handle up to 250 lbs occasionally.
Basic Microsoft Office proficiency for documentation and data entry.
Strong attention to detail on recipe compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor equipment that blends, mixes, packages, and transports chemical compounds.
Weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and load materials into machinery.
Monitor equipment for safe operation and troubleshoot basic issues.
Take material samples to the lab and document work in logs and systems.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards following ISO and company procedures.
