Job summary

Momentive in Kentucky is seeking a Production Engineer Intern for Polymers 1 and New Product Development teams to help optimize processes, advance sustainability, and support new product commercialization.

You'll work with operators and engineers on MES enhancements, data analytics, and continuous improvement, gaining hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing while delivering measurable value.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical engineering or related field in progress.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyze data to support decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Process optimization and productivity improvements through data analysis.
• Utilize MES data to evaluate process performance and drive improvements.
• Develop dashboards and reports for KPI monitoring.
• Support EHS initiatives and compliance activities.
• Assist with new product development, process documentation, and scale-up.
