Qualifications

• 2+ years experience managing in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Polymers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report environmental, health and safety incidents; lead investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor operators and maintenance personnel for deeper understanding of process operation and equipment.
• Develop and maintain meaningful area performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Lead initiatives for process optimization to maximize production, quality and yield.
• Lead root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, technical professionals and site leadership to solve polymerization or spinning process problems.
• Foster a culture that creates long-term business value through innovation and challenging the status quo.
• Lead area projects and training; mentor and coach new employees.
• Troubleshoot equipment such as pumps and valves.
• Uphold quality standards and ensure compliance of critical quality systems.
