Job summary

Ravago in Baytown, TX is seeking a hands-on Blending Operator to set up, operate and blend materials per strict specifications. You will handle blending equipment with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in a warehouse or blending environment, knowledge of polymers, and the ability to document blends, perform quality checks, and work closely with the operations team to support production runs.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in warehouse or blending environments.
• Knowledge of polymers materials and specs.
• Ability to use basic math, read, and follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow blend formulations and insure correct formulation in blender.
• Document all final blends: date, time, blender, components, location, weight and operator.
• Coordinate with operations manager for production runs and equipment concerns.
• Inspect equipment, report damages, and assist with switches.
• Pull samples for lab analysis and prep warehouse tasks.
• Wash, dry and prepare silos, blenders and railcars.
• Ensure seals for loaded railcars are proper and hoses are connected.
• Perform transloading tasks and follow SOPs.
• Maintain safe, clean and efficient work environment.
• Follow SOPs and perform additional duties as assigned.
