Job summary

Trinseo is seeking an Application Development Engineer at its Global Innovation Center in Exton, PA. The role supports development projects in Engineered Materials, focusing on Rigid Compounds and PMMA resins for building and enclosures.

You will develop testing capabilities, run trials, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product development and support customer initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with Master’s Degree as a plus.
• 5–10+ years of industrial experience in new product/application development.
• Experience with acrylic/PMMA and/or PC/PC-ABS/ABS materials preferred.
• Experience in polymer processing and characterization is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing/capability for new product development and applications.
• Conduct trials, set parameters, analyze data, and prepare reports.
• Interpret data and guide experimental planning within teams.
• Coordinate with analytical sciences and document results.
• Lead multiple R&D projects from ideation through commercialization.
