Job summary

Trinseo is seeking an Application Development Engineer to support two business areas—Rigid Compounds and PMMA resins—at the Exton, PA Global Innovation Center. The role focuses on application and product development for building, construction, electrical enclosures, and related markets.

You will lead multi-project development, set up experiments, interpret results, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate product and process innovations.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field; master's degree preferred.
• 5-10+ years in new product or application development.
• Experience with polymer processing and materials (PMMA/PC/ABS) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects from ideation to commercialization using stage-gate methods.
• Develop processing parameters for injection molding and extrusion for E&E and B&C markets.
• Provide technical support to customers, including trials and data interpretation.
• Collaborate with global teams and external partners to advance product programs.
