Job summary

Carlisle Companies Incorporated in Terrell, TX is seeking an night-shift production operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM). You will operate machinery, monitor performance, and ensure safety and quality while working 40 hours with possible overtime. No travel required.

The role emphasizes adherence to standard work, data recording for quality, and opportunities to learn new equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates safe working practices and attention to detail.

• Good communication, organization and time management.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills; able to use a calculator.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
• Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
• Willingness to learn and operate new equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift operation is a plus; training and certification will be provided.
• Support COS initiatives with a Lean mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery in the production department.
• Conducts continuous observation to ensure standard work is met.
• Performs hazard-based functions including lockout/tagout and TPM inspections.
• Performs proper daily cleaning of machinery.
• Sorts, stacks, and bundles material according to standard work.
• Supports 5S and SQDC activities as needed.
• Records data for quality control and improvement.
• Aims to achieve production goals while complying with safety.
• Assists with quality checks to verify parameters.
