Job summary

Bespoke Technologies, Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a BT-508 Tools Developer to advance automation across Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

The contractor will develop, test, and maintain production-ready scripts, troubleshoot updates, document architectures, and optimize complex workflows while coordinating with teams to meet project priorities and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in JavaScript/ExtendScript with Adobe application scripting interfaces and object models.
• Experience with Adobe UXP, CEP, or other extensibility technologies.
• Ability to develop, modify, debug, test, document, and maintain production-quality Adobe scripts.
• Experience automating complex production workflows involving document creation or modification, graphics and asset manipulation, file processing, and document export.
• Experience troubleshooting scripts following Adobe Creative Cloud updates and OS changes, assessing impact on automation.
• Experience with source-code/version-control systems such as Git or an equivalent technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Modify, debug, test, document, and maintain production-quality Adobe scripts.
• Troubleshoot scripts after Adobe CC updates and OS changes, assessing impact on automation.
• Automate complex production workflows involving document creation, graphics manipulation, and file export.
• Analyze legacy scripts, fix defects, and preserve functionality.
• Create scripts that interact with web APIs and local file systems.
• Document script architecture and dependencies; develop test cases and run tests.
• Manage project priorities to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
