Job summary

Bespoke Technologies, Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a BT-508 Tools Developer to advance automation across Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in JavaScript/ExtendScript with Adobe application scripting interfaces and object models.
• Experience with Adobe UXP, CEP, or other extensibility technologies.
• Ability to develop, modify, debug, test, document, and maintain production-quality Adobe scripts.
• Experience automating complex production workflows involving document creation or modification, graphics and asset manipulation, file processing, and document export.
• Experience troubleshooting scripts following Adobe Creative Cloud updates and OS changes, assessing impact on automation.

Introduction

The Sponsor's production and development services provide high-quality interactive, mobile, video, web and audio products that concisely convey complex topics to a variety of executive customers. The Sponsor manages its own technical cloud-based infrastructure and custom applications and services to support production efforts. The Sponsor requires support specializing in Adobe Creative Cloud scripting. The Sponsor needs polished skills in communication, teamwork, and collaborative development while managing a moderate to heavy workload.

Work Requirements

• The Contractor shall use Adobe Creative Cloud Scripting to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, document, and enhance automation scripts supporting Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop production environments.
• The Contractor shall develop, modify, debug, test, document, and maintain production-quality Adobe scripts.
• The Contractor shall troubleshoot scripts following Adobe Creative Cloud application updates, operating-system changes, changes to source documents, and changes to production workflows, and assessing the impact of Adobe Creative Cloud version changes on existing automation.
• The Contractor shall automate complex production workflows involving document creation or modification, graphics and asset manipulation, file processing, and document export.
• The Contractor shall analyze existing or legacy Adobe scripts, identify defects or performance issues, and modify or refactor scripts while preserving required functionality.
• The Contractor shall develop scripts that interact with web APis, local file systems, directories, and common production file formats.
• The Contractor shall create technical documentation describing script architecture, dependencies, configuration, installation, operation, and known limitations.
• The Contractor shall develop test cases and conduct functional and regression testing.
• The Contractor shall manage project priorities and tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness, clarity of message, and quality control for products.
• The Contractor shall meet Sponsor's requirements for quality, responsiveness, and accessibility. The Contractor shall comply with Sponsor development standards and employ modern web and application design and development best practices.
• The Contractor shall update assigned project statuses in Sponsor's production tracking tool.

Required Skills And Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Demonstrated experience specifically developing scripts for Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator,
• and Adobe Photoshop.
