Job summary

NewGen Technologies seeks an experienced automation specialist focused on Adobe Creative Cloud scripting. You will develop, modify, and maintain production scripts for InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, ensuring compatibility with updates and upgrades across operating systems and documents.

You will build automated workflows, document architecture, and test cases, while collaborating with teams to meet quality, accessibility, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Demonstrated experience developing scripts for InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/ExtendScript and scripting interfaces for Adobe apps.
• Experience with Adobe UXP, CEP, or other extensibility technologies.
• Experience automating complex production workflows involving document creation/modification, graphics/asset manipulation, and exports.
• Experience troubleshooting scripts after Adobe CC updates and OS changes.
• Experience with SDLC practices and version-control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts for InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Automate complex production workflows and document exports.
• Create technical documentation describing script architecture and dependencies.
• Develop test cases and perform functional regression testing.
• Manage project priorities to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.
• Update project statuses in Sponsor's production tracking tool.
